This was one of my first projects that we did as a class for an actual client last quarter. The product was Meurials Old Fashion Caramel Corn, and we were designing a package/logo, and I just made a little business card and envelope to go along with it.
Our first assignment in my Color and Design class involving creating a collage that directly related to fibonacci’s Spiral (or the Golden Mean). After we created our collage we drew a box below it and gridded it with a 1 square inch grid. The trick to recreating the collage was that we were to use only small strokes to recreate the value of color translated to B&W. Also, every square inch had to be a different mark, so i just did little a’s b’s c’s and so on.
